What a gem to find. This is a 3 star site with 5 star quality. The pitches overlooking the lake are divided by tall hedges, so although from the opposite view everyone is in a line, no pitch is overlooked by its next door neighbour and you really do feel on your own. The pitches on the upper terrace also have a view of the lake and a sanitaire block so there is no need to come down if you don’t want to move far. On the lower terrace there is a double communal sanitaire block with toilets and showers to suit all needs including disabled facilities. This, as far as we could see was the only place to get drinking water on the lower level, but was not an issue for us. Each plot is in close proximity to an electric point and easily accessible.The sanitaires are some of the best cleaned and maintained that I have come across in many years and no complaint can be made of the care and attention given to the facilities or the site at all. From first arrival visitors are made to feel at home and welcomed, with information and help to enjoy the stay in several languages. The restaurant now serves fresh food made on site and although we did not eat there, was pleasantly surprised to see that veggie burgers are on the menu. The site is quiet, well maintained and a good stopover site for the motorway where you can stroll into town in less than 5 minutes, wander around the lake, sit on the manmade beach, use the swimming pool or enjoy your plot. free wifi is accessible at reception. The new owner Alison is welcoming, friendly and she and her family and staff are working hard to ensure a satisfactory stay for visitors. There are lovely touches around the site, such as quirky ornaments, posters on the wall, piped music in the sanitaires and benches on some of the plots. I thoroughly recommend this site, whether you come for a one night stopover or longer, you will not be disappointed and we will certainly be revisiting soon.

1 night stop over going south, stayed for 3. lovely quaint site, overlooking lake. Allison and her team work hard to make your stay smooth. The toilet facilities were clean and regularly maintained (The collection of enamel potties and bed pans in the sanitaires is intriguing). Easy access from A20. New link Road before St Germain so not necessary to go through village. Unfortunately Google Street View hasn\'t been updated but road is shown on Google earth.

Een heerlijke camping om tot rust te komen met heel leuk, behulpzaam en superaardig “personeel”.
Je kunt lekker eten in het restaurant en heerlijk zwemmen. De camping is net overgenomen en de nieuwe eigenaren verdienen echt om even in de picture gezet te worden

Wat een geweldige ervaring om hier te verblijven. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Het restaurant had een beperkte kaart maar met zeer goede gerechten tegen zeer redelijke prijzen. De kokkin (tevens eigenaar) had er duidelijk zin in want haar gezang begeleidde de bereiding van eea. Reserveren om er te gaan eten is op drukke dagen of in drukke tijden. Niet alleen campinggasten maken gebruik van het restaurant, ook de lokale bevolking weet hen te vinden. \'s Ochtends kan je zelf gemaakte baguettes, croissants afhalen na bestelling bij hen de avond ervoor. Sanitair is ruim voldoende en werd goed schoongemaakt. Het op (letterlijk) steenworp gelegen meertje biedt zwem mogelijkheden en je kan er omheen wandelen. Een echte aanrader, niet alleen voor de trekkers maar ook om er wat langer te verblijven.

Très beaux emplacements surplombant le lac, très bon restaurant ouvert même hors saison (ce qui est rare) et surtout un excellent accueil.

Charmant petit camping avec très bon accueil et très bon restaurant avec une tarte à la banane caramel faite maison succulente.Cadre magnifique devant des grandes prairies avec les vaches et devant un lac et une plage.

Gelegen aan mooi, intiem klein meertje, geleid o.a. door een man afkomstig uit Den Bosch.., hoewel we, helaas maar 1 nachtje hebben gestaan, op weg naar het zuiden, is deze camping een aanrader. Ruime plekken met voldoende stroom en een geweldige ‘kantine’ met restaurant kwaliteiten… Zeer goede en smaakvolle gerechten, tegen bijna belachelijk lage prijzen. Een camping om zeker terug te komen.

Camping super pour une halte. Le restaurant vaut le détour, cuisine exceptionnelle pour un prix imbattable! Cadre bucolique même fin octobre. Nous reviendrons dès que possible .

This site is a gem. It is situated alongside a lake. The pitches are laid out individually with great views of the lake, The San Facs are very good, clean and tidy. The on site restaurant is excellent. Only spent 2 nights here. Wish it could have been more.

Prachtig gelegen camping aan een meertje met fantastisch uitzicht op de heuvels. Gemoedelijke en vriendelijke ontvangst. Aan alles merk je dat deze camping con amore wordt gerund.
