Ce camping ne mérite absolument pas ses quatre étoiles !
Par contre, son environnement offre de très nombreuses possibilités d\'activité de loisirs autour ou sur le magnifique lac de St Pardoux !!

pour une nuit d\'étape en allant sur Nantes pour un salon.... réservation dans l\'apm pour le soir, accueil très agréable et chaleureux. les espaces sont grands pour notre fourgon, camping soigné et les nouvelles couleurs des sanitaires sont top. une halte plus longue est envisagée en été.

This site is a mixed bag. In the daytime and during the week it is quiet, and peaceful overlooking the lake, with access to a man made beach and water sports leisure such as lake swimming and water skiing.There is a swimming pool, which is long but slopes and so is paddling depth at one end and not suitable for serious swimming, a nice new sanitaire block and there is a wifi point at reception. The staff are friendly, helpful and speak English if you need it. unfortunately many of the pitches are on the side of the hill leading down to the lake and so are sloping and uneven and for some the water and electric points are too far away for comfort, but there is plenty of shade.There is a second sanitaire block which is old, in disrepair and needs some serious upgrades. There was broken plumbing under sinks and no hand washing facilities in the toilets. The water is warm for both dish and laundry washing and showers are adequate. There is a restaurant on site but as we did not use it, I cannot make a comment on this. At night and the weekend however’ this is the place to be for anyone local, the road to the lake runs along one side of the campsite, and the road to the car park for the lake runs along the other, throughout the day and well into the night and early hours of the morning traffic is using both roads and music and partying can be heard for miles. Unfortunately the campsite is also accessible to the general public visiting the lake and is not secure. Overall, I would agree with other reviews that suggest this is not a 4 star site in terms of quality, but we had a couple of very quiet peaceful nights and some lovely trips around the lake by bike, but doubt that we will return.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, zeer behulpzaam. Mooie groene camping aan het meer met strand. Zwembad, restaurant en winkel, klein maar fijn!
Sanitair wat verouderd en te weinig. Fietsen zijn op de camping te huren, je kunt een tocht rond het meer maken, je moet wel een beetje conditie hebben om deze tocht met smalle paadjes, hoogteverschillen en veel hobbels te maken, maar is erg leuk!

Camping très bien situé au bord du lac. Sanitaires très propres et très souvent desinfectés. Très nombreuses possibilités de randonnées.

Nous recherchions un endroit agréable à l\'abri de la COVID le séjour fut parfait. BRAVO au personnel pour le sérieux dans la désinfection des sanitaires. Nous avons bien profité de la plage, des randonnées pédestres et VTT. Camping à recommander pour les amateurs de vacances nature.

Stayed on this site for a few days - beautiful lovely view over the lake - beautiful walk to the sandy beach but beware toilet facilities not the best didn’t actually use the toilet facilities but you can see from the outside that they did I needed Some attention in fact the whole site just lacking in that little final touch but other than that we would stay again.
